Feel Safe - Inner Protector is a guided auditory journey designed by Kayli Larkin CCHT to help you relax and visualize an inner sanctuary and protector. It contains relaxation and suggestions for training your mind and body toward a felt sense of safety.
We are able to connect with other people best when we ourselves are relaxed and calm. If someone is in a hyper vigilant state or on guard, their energy is turned toward self protection rather than connection, and a fight, flight, or freeze state can make people disengage or get into arguments rather than connect in a loving way.
Now it’s important to assess that relationships are objectively safe for us to be in, and to pick people to engage with who are safe, caring, and trustworthy people. We can learn how to access and trust our intuition around connecting with and partnering with people who are safe.
Yet sometimes people have trouble feeling safe even though they know that objectively they are in no danger.
